Community Café Assistant
Rate of pay: £7.85 per hour
We are currently looking to recruit an additional café assistant for our community café. The role involves food preparation, cooking, setting up of the café, serving of food and refreshments, and clearing up at the end of the day. The café is part of the hospitality team and will therefore support this service when necessary with catering requirements for meetings / events held on site. This is a part time role but the hours of working are required between 7.30am – 3pm. Flexible days of working are required.

Administration & Data Entry Clerk
37 hours a week; salary: £13,757 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised administration and data entry clerk who can support several projects across the organisation. Duties will include: collecting, collating and inputting data for our Living Well, Taking Control Diabetes programme; helping to coordinate our volunteer-led patient transport service; and providing administrative support to the volunteering team and for other departments and projects across the organisation as needed.

Westbank - Neighbourhood Friends - Crediton
We are looking for 2 highly motivated people to develop and deliver the Neighbourhood Friends service in Crediton, working in partnership with the voluntary and community organisations already in existence in the town. The aim of Neighbourhood Friends is to keep older people out of hospital and to help them return home from hospital as soon as they are medically fit to do so. Our responsive service links people in with services in their community and provides volunteers to help with a range of activities designed to enable people to remain safe and well in their own home.
We are looking for a Project Development Manager: to recruit, train and support approx 50 volunteers; to promote referrals to the service, liaising primarily with the RD&E, GP practices and Community Health & Social Care Teams; and to co-ordinate referrals by carrying out assessments, drawing up support plans and initiating appropriate packages of volunteer-led support.
We are also looking for a Care Navigator: to support the Project Development Manager in all areas of work, with a particular focus on carrying out assessments, drawing up support plans and initiating appropriate packages of volunteer-led support; and to develop and maintain an up to date working knowledge of the support available to people from within the community and voluntary sector.
